Park Avenue beer shampoo

I will be reviewing none other than a shampoo from “Park Avenue”

Park Avenue claims that it made from real beer and construction of the bottle is also like a beer bottle. First impression when you see is attractive packaging. You will be tempted to purchase it. Even I have purchased it from local market. It’s available in local market or you may claim it online. Its easily available anywhere.

Park Avenue claims that it made from real beer. Beer is absolutely good for your lustrous locks. Park Avenue Beer Shampoo comes in an elastic beer style bottle that has a flip top cap over it. The shampoo is yellow in color and smells exactly like beer; so I was very eager to try this shampoo. When you look at the ingredient it contain SLES; Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate; basically I am not in favor of SLES product; SLES free products are always good for your hair; however I have heard some good reviews about this shampoo from my friends; so, I think I should try this product.

My hair is dry; so I have brought Park Avenue beer shampoo which is meant for dry hair; it has been claimed that natural goodness shiny, smooth and damage free hair; when you open the flap you can smell like beer; it’s good news for beer lover.

List of the ingredients which are available backside of the bottle, I have listed below.

Aqua, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate,Beer,Dimethiconal (And) TEA Dodecylbenzenesulfonate (And) Laureth 23 ,Cocoamidopropyl Butane,Cocobetaine,Cocodiethanalomide,Sodium Chloride,Perfume,Polyquaternium-10,Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride,Bis (C13-15 Alkoxy).PG Amodemethicone,Methylchloroisothyazolinone & Methylisothyazolinone,Benzophenone -4,Tetra Sodium EDTA,Citric Acid,Diethyl Phthalate,C.I15985,C.I 19140; Alcohol content: 0.25% v/v contains 1% w/v diethyl phthalate.

Park Avenue shampoo claims (which has been written on the bottle)

  • Park Avenue Beer Shampoo makes your hair become soft and shiny and has a good and lively volume.
  • Park Avenue Beer Shampoo is unisex and can be used by men and women who desire that extra shine and luster
  • This is organic and is formulated with real beer so that your locks get nothing but the best in hair care
  • It will help you flaunt lustrous locks.

My Experience

The shampoo has a good texture and lathers really well. It does clean the hair and scalp thoroughly leaving the hair bouncy and provide little shine to your hair; don’t expect any miracle; It will dry your hair like crazy. You need to use conditioner at very high quantity. This is ineffective on your hair fall. Its increase your hair fall; it does add volume to your hair. Structure of the bottle is very attractive; packaging is just like a beer bottle. It has a plastic flip open cap which is convenient to open and little bit hard to close properly.

Pros from my point of view

  • Provide volume and bounce to your hair
  • Clean scalp easily
  • Inexpensive, easily available in local market or online.
  • Gives good lather; required small quantity is enough to clean your hair.
  • Gives little smooth effect to your hair.

Cons:

  • It smells like beer; which I find reluctant from shampoo
  • Not gives very much shine to your hair.
  • Dries hair like crazy

Final Verdict

Overall my experience is not at all good and of course I was expected so much from this shampoo but I am unsatisfied after using this shampoo; I will give 1 point out of 5 only for providing volume to hair. Although my friends claim that beer shampoo is good for their hair; of course result may vary from person to person; but I think, I will definitely not repurchase.

Note: this is absolutely not paid review; this is my personal experience.
